Greetings Developers!

Today we are excited to open up all our public data for FREE with a suite of APIs letting you create
robust products using MySpace data. Any developer can now get UNLIMITED access to MySpace data
pushed to you in real-time, without having users install anything or authenticate.

To celebrate, we're challenging you to come up with innovative uses of these API's, with the winners
getting prizes. Submissions open on January 4th, so get coding! MySpace Developer Challenge.

Here's more on the new APIs:

Real-Time Stream API Get the full MySpace Stream in real-time pushed to your site. Status and Mood Commenting API Get MySpace status updates and moods to your site, and allow your users to comment from your site, with those comments appearing back in the MySpace Stream. Open Search API Allow searching people by name or email address, with filtering/narrowing search results by gender, age, and location. Photo Upload API Easily allow users to upload photos into MySpace from your sites or MySpace Apps, and vice versa. Updated Version of Post To / Share On MySpace Posting to MySpace is a simple way for MySpace users to share content from their favorite websites into the MySpace stream.
