Citi Forward 12 Resolutions Sweepstakes
Official Rules

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. SUBJECT TO ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS. VOID IN ALASKA, HAWAII AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. By entering the Citi Forward 12 Resolutions Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") entrants agree to be bound by these Sweepstakes Official Rules ("Official Rules" or "Rules"). The Sweepstakes commences at 12:00:00 PM Pacific Time ("PT") on March 4, 2009 and ends at 11:59 AM PT on March 2, 2010 (the "Sweepstakes Term").

    The Sponsors of this Sweepstakes are Citicorp Credit Services, Inc., ("CCSI") One Court Square, Long Island City, NY 11120 and MySpace, Inc., 407 North Maple Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 ("MySpace" and collectively, with CCSI "Sponsors"). The administrator of this Sweepstakes is Creative Zing Promotion Group ("Administrator"), 100 E. Pine Street, Suite 201, Orlando, Florida 32801.

  2. THE 12 RESOLUTIONS PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Citi ForwardSM by myspaceTM Community Page at www.myspace.com/citiforward ("Citi Forward Page") will feature the 12 Resolutions Program ("Program"). The Program will consist of 12 Resolutions ("Resolutions") that focus on acts of good behavior across various areas such as improving one's carbon footprint, energy conservation, fiscal responsibility, and goodwill. Each Resolution will explain how the Resolution (1) positively impacts the MySpace member ("Entrant"), (2) has a direct correlation with being a Citi Forward cardmember, and (3) how Citi is making a positive impact towards the Resolution. Every ninety (90) day period during the Sweepstakes Term, three (3) different Resolutions will be featured on the Citi Forward Page (each, a "Sweepstakes Period" or "Period"). The first three (3) Resolutions which will be featured on the Citi Forward Page during the first Sweepstakes Period of March 4, 2009 through June 1, 2009 are as follows:

    • I will go paperless.
    • I will donate canned goods.
    • I will switch to energy-efficient light bulbs.

  3. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is offered and open only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or the age of majority in their state of primary residence or older as of March 4, 2009 ("Entrant"). All Entrants must be registered members of MySpace and in compliance with MySpace's Terms & Conditions policy located at http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=misc.terms. Each Entrant must be the rightful owner (or have authorized use) of the e-mail address identified with each Entry. The Sweepstakes is not open to: (1) employees, independent contractors, officers, and/or directors of Sponsor, Sponsor's respective parent, related, affiliated and/or subsidiary companies, Sponsor's advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies or Sponsor's legal advisors; (2) the immediate family members of, and persons living in the same household as, any of the foregoing persons; or (3) any person who has been convicted of, or pleaded guilty to, a crime in the last ten (10) years.

  4. HOW TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter.

    Entry Method One: All Entrants are eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes through completion of one Resolution, by doing all of the following: go to the Citi Forward Page; select at least one Resolution; complete a task that is consistent with that Resolution; and then submit a confirmation that the Resolution has been acted on. One completed Resolution equals one Sweepstakes entry ("Entry"). Entrants may submit an unlimited number of entries during each Sweepstakes Period. Each Entry must be separately submitted in accordance with these Official Rules and any Entry that Sponsors, in their sole discretion, suspect violate these Rules will be disqualified.

    Each time you register for one (1) Resolution, you must complete a two-step Registration process. Step 1 of the Registration Process will require the Entrant to submit the following:

    • Entrant's First and Last Name;
    • Entrant's Email address; and
    • Acknowledgment (via check box) of each Resolution being considered for completion

    After completing a task that is consistent with the selected Resolution, Step 2 of the Registration Process will require the Entrant to go to the Citi Forward Page and do the following:

    • Confirm completed Resolution; and
    • Describe in one thousand (1,000) words or less how the Resolution was performed.
    • Entrant will also have the option to upload one (1) picture of him or herself performing the selected Resolution.
    • Entrant will have the option to enter his/her ThankYou Member Account number associated with his/her Citi Forward account.

    For each completed Resolution, Entrant will automatically receive one (1) Entry into the Sweepstakes. The quality of the Resolutions stories submitted will have no bearing on the outcome of the Sweepstakes. Entrants are encouraged, but not required, to upload Resolution photos, according to the online instructions. The photo submissions will have no bearing on the Sweepstakes and are being submitted for entertainment purposes only. Winners will be selected at random.

    If the Entrant is a Citi Forward cardmember, he/she will receive 100 ThankYou bonus points ("Thank You Points") for each completed Resolution, up to 300 ThankYou Points per Sweepstakes Period, if Entrant submits his/her ThankYou Member Account Number associated with the Citi Forward account. ThankYou Points will post to a cardmember's ThankYou Member Account 4-6 weeks after the conclusion of each Sweepstakes Period. If Entrant fails to provide an accurate ThankYou Member Account number, no ThankYou Points will be awarded and Sponsors have no further obligation.

    Entry Method Two: To enter the Sweepstakes without completing a Resolution, hand print your complete name, mailing address, daytime and evening telephone numbers, a valid email address, your Myspace member ID and your ThankYou Member Account number associated with your Citi Forward account (if available) on a piece of paper and mail it in an envelope with sufficient postage to: Citi Forward 12 Resolutions Program, P.O. Box 3827, Orlando, FL, 32802-3827 (hereinafter, "Mail-In Entry").

    If the Entrant is a Citi Forward cardmember, he/she will receive 100 ThankYou Points for each Mail-In Entry, up to 300 ThankYou Points per Sweepstakes Period, if Entrant submits his/her ThankYou Member Account number associated with the Citi Forward account. ThankYou Points will post to a cardmember's ThankYou Member Account 4-6 weeks after the conclusion of each Sweepstakes Period. If Entrant fails to provide an accurate ThankYou Member Account number, no ThankYou Points will be awarded and Sponsors have no further obligation.

    General Entry Information: Non-winning Entries received in any Sweepstakes Periods will not be rolled over into subsequent Sweepstakes Periods. All completed Resolution Entries and Mail-In Entries must be submitted and received by Sponsors in accordance with the following four Sweepstakes Period deadlines:

    1st Sweepstakes Period
    A) Internet Entry between 12:00:00 PM PT on March 4, 2009 and 11:59:59 AM PT on June 2, 2009
    B) Mail-in Entry must be postmarked by June 2, 2009 and received by June 9, 2009.

    2nd Sweepstakes Period
    A) Internet Entry between 12:00:00 PM PT on June 3, 2009 and 11:59:59 AM PT on September 1, 2009
    B) Mail-in Entry must be postmarked by September 1, 2009 and received by September 9, 2009.

    3rd Sweepstakes Period
    A) Internet Entry between 12:00:00 PM PT on September 2, 2009 and 11:59:59 AM PT on December 1, 2009
    B) Mail-in Entry must be postmarked by December 1, 2009 and received by December 8, 2009.

    4th Sweepstakes Period
    A) Internet Entry between 12:00:00 PM PT on December 2, 2009 and 11:59:59 AM PT on March 2, 2010
    B) Mail-in Entry must be postmarked by March 2, 2010 and received by March 9, 2010. .

    With respect to Entries, Sponsors are not responsible for computer system, phone line, technical, hardware, software or program failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Use of automated devices is not valid for entry. Sponsors are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries. With respect to Mail-In Entries, no photocopies or mechanically reproduced entries permitted. Sponsors are not responsible for any lost, late, delayed, illegible, incomplete, mutilated, postage due, or misdirected Entries. Incomplete, unreadable, inaccurate, unintelligible or late Entries or Entries which otherwise do not comply with these Official Rules will be disqualified. All Entries, upon submission, become the property of Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned and Sponsors have the right to dispose of the Entries at Sponsors' discretion. Sponsors reserve the right to, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the online portion of this Sweepstakes (or the entire Sweepstakes) if any computer virus, bugs or other technical difficulty or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsors corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes, at which time the selection of the Winners shall be determined in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received at time of Sweepstakes termination.

    By submitting an Entry, Entrants: 1) irrevocably grant Sponsors an exclusive royalty-free license throughout the world to use, re-use, copy, publish, republish in whole or in part, edit, add to, modify, or rearrange the Entry in whatever media, including, without limitation, edit, rearrange, and/or copy the Entry, for use in the promotion of Sponsors' products and services, without further permission, consideration or payment to the Entrant, except where prohibited; 2) warrant and represent that the Entry is 100% original creation/work by Entrant and that use of the Entry as described herein will not violate any law or infringe upon the rights, title, claim or interest of any third party; and 3) certify that Entrant is the creator and sole copyright owner of the Entry.

    Company names or individual names other than Entrant's name, cannot be included in any Entry. Any Entry submitted with a company name or an individual name, other than the Entrant's name, will be disqualified. No previously published Entries may be submitted. Entries must include a valid e-mail address for the Entrant. Sponsors and their respective parents, related, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and legal advisors and their respective officers, directors, agents, employees, and assigns (collectively, the "Related Entities") are not responsible for any problems or technical, hardware, or software malfunctions of any telephone network or telephone lines, failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or Entry to be received by the Sponsors due to technical problems, human error or traffic congestion, unavailable network connections on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to Entrant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. Entries that include profanity, inappropriate, defamatory, lewd, sexually suggestive or explicit language, or promote the use of alcohol or drug use will be disqualified.

    Any personal information supplied by you to MySpace will be subject to MySpace's privacy policy posted at http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=misc.privacy. By entering the Sweepstakes, you grant MySpace permission to share your email address and any other personally identifiable information with other entities, solely for the purpose of contest administration, judging and prize fulfillment. MySpace will not sell, rent, transfer or otherwise disclose your personal data to any third party other those described herein. Entry constitutes permission, where legal, to post winner's name on myspace.com/citiforward and to use winner's name, hometown and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation unless prohibited by law.

  5. SELECTION OF WINNERS: For each designated Sweepstakes Period, one (1) potential winner will be selected at random from among all eligible Entries received during such Sweepstakes Period, for a total of four (4) winners during the Sweepstakes Term. Each Sweepstakes Period random drawing will be conducted approximately ten (10) days after the applicable Sweepstakes Period Entry deadline. All random drawings will be conducted by the Sweepstakes Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding in all aspects pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible Entries received by each Sweepstakes Period Entry deadline. Non-winning Entries in any Sweepstakes Period will not be carried over into a subsequent Sweepstakes Period.

  6. PRIZES: Each Prize consists of winner's choice of either: A) One (1) pair of VIP concert tickets to be selected by Ambassador from a list provided by the Sponsor (approximate retail value (ARV) $250); or B) One (1) Impact Fundraising Package consisting of $500 worth of online advertising placement along with a private consultation with a MySpace content producer, for the charity of the Ambassador's choice, to be fulfilled through the self-serve advertising platform (ARV $750). Total maximum ARV of all prizes: $3,000.

    If a winner selects prize option A, all expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in these Official Rules (including, but not limited to, ground transportation between winner's residence and the concert location, tolls, gasoline, parking, meals, beverages, incidentals, upgrades, gratuities, souvenirs or any other expenses) are the sole responsibility of the winners. Any difference between stated ARV of a prize and actual value of a prize will not be awarded. Prize winners may not choose the cash value in lieu of a prize. No substitution, assignment, or transfer of any prize permitted. In the event a prize is unavailable for any reason, Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to substitute prize with one of equal or greater value.

  7. POTENTIAL WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners ("Potential Winners") will be contacted via phone to confirm eligibility and compliance with the rules on or about three (3) days following each random drawing. Potential Winners will be required to verify address and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability, copyright release and, unless prohibited by law, a publicity release. Additionally, the Potential Winner must submit to a background check. Such background check may include (but is not limited to) investigation of employment history, criminal or other arrest or conviction record, and any other factor deemed relevant by the Sweepstakes Entities to help ensure that any Potential Winner will not, in the Sweepstakes Entities' sole discretion, bring Sweepstakes Entities into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavorably on Sweepstakes Entities. If requested, the Potential Winner agrees to sign waiver forms authorizing the release of personal and background information. Prize will not be awarded until all such properly executed forms are returned. Failure to respond within the time period directed by the Sponsors and to return all required forms may result in forfeiture of the prize and, in such case, Sponsors may select an alternate Potential Winner.

  8. GENERAL: By entering this Sweepstakes, Entrants: (1) agree to be bound by these Official Rules; (2) agree to release Sponsors and Related Entities from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, costs or expenses, including without limitation, property damages, personal injury and/or death arising out of participating in this Sweepstakes, or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery; and (3) consent to the use of their names, voices, pictures, likenesses and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium now or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity and without additional compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law, and (4) acknowledge that the stated parties have neither made nor are responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition, or fitness for a particular purpose. Sponsors may terminate this Sweepstakes or modify it as necessary if it becomes aware of any occurrence that materially affects the Sweepstakes' security/fairness. Sponsors may prohibit any individual from participating in Sweepstakes and disqualify such individual's Entries if the individual violates these Official Rules or attempts to disrupt the Sweepstakes in any way Sponsors' decisions with respect to the Sweepstakes are final and binding. In the event Sponsors or Related Entities are prevented from continuing with this Sweepstakes, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is undermined by any event, including but not limited to, fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute, or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state, provincial or local government law, order of regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within the Sponsors' or Related Entities' control (each a "Force Majeure" event) the Sponsors or Related Entities shall have the right, in their sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes without notice or further obligation. If the Sponsors or Related Entities, in their discretion, elect to abbreviate, cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes as a result of a Force Majeure event, the Sponsors or Related Entities reserve the right, but shall have no obligation, to award the prizes from among all non-suspect, valid and eligible entries received up to the time of such Force Majeure event.

  9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to an infection by a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the Entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, at which time, Sponsors will select the winners from among all non-suspect, eligible Entries received at the time of such action. Sponsors assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, Entries or transaction or account applications. Sponsors are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or Entry to be received by the Sponsors due to technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, or for any other errors or problems of any kind, whether technical, mechanical, typographical, printing, humor or otherwise, including, without limitation, any errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of Entries, transaction or applications, in the announcement of prizes or in any other Sweepstakes-related materials, including such error as may give an erroneous indication that a prize has been won. Sponsors are also not responsible for any injury or damage to an Entrant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. SPONSORS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INCOMPATIBILITY OF ENTRANT'S HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR BROWSER TECHNOLOGY WITH SPONSORS' HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR BROWSER TECHNOLOGY. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Use of automated devices are not valid for Entry.

  10. USE OF INFORMATION: Unless otherwise set forth in these Official Rules, the information that you provide in connection with the Sweepstakes may be used for Sponsors' internal purposes and to send you information about Sponsors' products and special promotions but will not be provided to third parties other than Promoter, except as necessary for the administration of the Sweepstakes or as required by law. Entry constitutes permission to post winner's name on Website and to use winner's name, hometown and/or likeness for purposes of advertising or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

  11. WINNERS LIST: For a list of winners, available after May 1, 2010, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Search for The Voice of Generation Forward, c/o Creative Zing Promotion Group, 100 E. Pine Street, Suite 201, Orlando, Florida 32801. All requests must be received by August 1, 2010.
